elevate your faith

Elevate Your Faith to Elevate Your Life

Elevate (v.): raise or lift (something) up to a higher position; raise to a more important or impressive level

Synonyms: promote, upgrade, advance, move up, raise, prefer

God is getting ready to elevate you and you’re about to experience a spiritual glo up. The type of elevation that allows God to bless you beyond measures. The type of elevation that makes people ask you who, what, and how. This glo up is not just about looking better, it’s about being better and doing better so that you can draw souls to the kingdom of Christ.

So now that I’ve got your attention, here’s how you can activate your spiritual glo up. There are only two steps: having faith and taking action. Sounds easy right?

Having a strong faith in God is the most important thing if you want to experience a spiritual glo up. Hebrews 11:1 says, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” There will be times (A LOT of times, might I add) that you will not understand God’s reasoning and why He allows you to go through the things that you will go through. There will also be times (once again, A LOT) where you won’t feel like obeying God. You will feel tired, you will feel lonely, you will feel left out.

Feelings < Faith

Do not let your feelings overpower your faith. You have to put your feelings aside and be faithful and obedient to God. As humans controlling our feelings can be hard, but it is possible.

We have to start appreciating the battles and circumstances that God is putting us in. God is teaching us how to go THROUGH the storm, not around it. It is in the storm that you learn just how tough you are and just how much God loves you. You are going to have some bumps and bruises. You are going to lose people who you thought would be in your life forever. Hebrews 12 talks about God shaking things up in our lives so that only something constant can remain.

Faith In Spite Of

Faith believes God in spite of unfavorable circumstances. It is not contingent of whatever else you’re going through. Doubt disappears once you understand that the things God has in store for you are bigger than your wildest dreams. There is only room for trust and faith.

Hebrews 12: 26-29 – At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, “Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.” The words “once more” indicate the removing of what can be shaken – that is, created things – so that what cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire.”

Sometimes I find myself having faith that God can do one thing, but not another. I’ve found that there are levels to this faith thing and if you’re trying to activate your glo up, you’re going to have to elevate your faith. You do this by prayer, obedience, and hearing the word. Romans 10:17 says, “Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.”

If you’ve been in church for a while, you’ve probably heard this scripture a million times. James 2:20 says that “faith without works is dead”. You cannot live in abundance without actually putting the work in.

God is not going to do everything for you. There are going to be times where He is going to give you everything you need. Then He will sit back to see what you will do with it. A lot of us are missing our blessings because we’re constantly asking God to do this or that in our lives when He has already given us the tools to do it.

Complete the Mission

God has set you on a mission and you have an assignment. Your increase is in your victory in that assignment. One thing I want you to understand is that gloing up does not necessarily mean being successful. 1 Corinthians 4:2 reads, “Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful.” God does not call us to be successful, He calls us to be faithful. However, there is no way that you can be obedient to God and not increase.

Psalm 37:4-5 – Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, trust in Him, and He shall bring it to pass.”

I think a lot of us overlook the fact that God wants us to be overflowing with blessings here on Earth. Psalm 37:4-5 tells us that He wants to give us what we desire and all we have to do is commit our ways to Him and have a little faith. Sound familiar?

There is a life full of grace and glory waiting on the other side of your glo up. All you have to do is trust God and do what He says. I’m not saying that it will be easy, but it will be worth it. I want to leave with you Psalm 84:11. It says, “For the Lord God is a sun and a shield; the Lord will give grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.”

My prayer for you today is that you activate your glo up by having faith in God’s process and timing, and being obedient and putting in the necessary work. I pray that you begin to delight yourself in the Lord and commit your way to Him, and that in return He gives you the desires of your heart. I thank Him in advance for being your sun and your shield, for giving you grace and glory, and for withholding no good thing from you.

As always I want to thank God for using me as His messenger. If no one has told you recently, you are loved and you are worthy. You mean something to me and you mean something to God. He has a great plan for your life if you make the decision to follow Him. I hope that this post will resonate with you in your day-to-day life as you began to work on the things that are stopping you from living your best life.
