• Who Is He To You?

This song, Way Maker, by Sinach has been on repeat for me for the past few days. I wanted to share it with you all. Way maker. Miracle worker. Promise keeper. Light in the darkness. My God, that is who You are! When I think about all the things that God has been for me, I can’t help but get emotional. He’s been my best friend in my loneliest times. He’s been my comfort. He’s been my peace. He’s been a father. He’s been a teacher. He’s been the ultimate example of what love looks like. What has He been to you? Comment below!    Please follow and like us:

  • What Are You Willing to Sacrifice?

It's amazing to me how hard it is for us to sacrifice our time, our money, our belongings for God. Especially when I think about the fact that He made the ultimate sacrifice when He sent Jesus to die for our sins. We claim to love God, but don't like that love comes with sacrifice and giving.

  • Be Still and Know That I Am God

To be still and know is to exist in a place with total submission and awareness of who God is through relationship and observation. If you want God's best for your life, you have to know who He is, what He does, and why. You learn this through reading and studying the word of God, praying, and communicating with God just like He's your best friend - because He is!

  • No More ThroughHerHeSpeaks?

It’s hump day!!!!! Happy Wednesday guys. I pray that you’re having an amazing week! I honestly wasn’t planning on writing this post until like the summer time, but things change. Please forgive me if it’s all over the place. I’m honestly just getting all of my thoughts and feelings out. So here we go… Goodbye to ThroughHerHeSpeaks? Through Her He Speaks was created in October 2017 as a bible study and devotional blog. We’re almost five months in and I feel like I’ve lost my “why”. Recently I’ve felt like I’ve had no motivation and ultimately, no direction. I thought that maybe I had drifted away from God, but the…

  • Daniel Bible Study II | THHS Bible Study

Happy Tuesday!! We’re back with part two of our study of Daniel. If you haven’t read the first post then you can read that here. Let’s jump right in. Chapter 4 God will humble the proud In the fourth chapter of Daniel, we find King Nebuchadnezzar having yet another dream. Of course, Daniel is the only one who has the ability to interpret the dream. In his dream, Nebuchadnezzar saw a tree that grew to be large and strong. Its fruit was abundant, and it was used for food and shelter. A messenger called for the tree to be cut down, and stripped of its leaves and fruit. Only the…

  • Daniel Bible Study 1 | THHS Bible Study

Happy Thursday! Some things have happened recently that have caused me to adopt the motto “Faith over fear!” I do plan to write about them at some point, but I don’t know when. As I have been reading and studying the book of Daniel, I have seen faith over fear over and over again. I wanted to share my thoughts and revelations from the book of Daniel with you all, and hopefully it has the same impact on you all as it has had on me. Daniel has twelve chapters so I will break this up into four posts – three chapters each. I used my physical bible, the YouVersion…
